Gaza is an open-air prison and one of the most densely populated places on earth. It is under a 16-year blockade that has only grown worse as the Israeli government has cut off all access to food, water, electricity, and medicine. The Israeli military has murdered over 11,000 Palestinians — 4,600 of them children — and threatens the lives of its own citizen hostages, for whom all of this violence is supposedly justified.
