Our talks begin with a traditional introduction, and touch on our decades of experience as grassroots leaders making change. Topics range from: Rights of Nature, Traditional Ecological Knowledge, Indigenous History, Environmental Justice and more.
Our hands-on workshops can take place in-person or online, and are customizable based on the needs and goals of your group.
With our combined decades of community organizing experience, training and formal education, 7 Directions can provide counsel and guidance to groups on the frontlines of change.
We are passionate about showing up for those who are also on the margins fighting for equity and justice. We believe in sharing and interdependence, so please reach out if you or your community are in need.
The 7th direction is inward. It’s about self-development, compassion, confidence and skillful leadership. The other 6 are represented by: children, women, men, elders, the earth and the sky, which includes the mind and culture. Through mentorship and hands-on experience in service of these sacred directions, Black, Indigenous and People of Color self-identifying youth will be supported to cultivate the 7th direction within.
